Our partners

St Nathanael's Church, Walton, which provides a base for many of our activities.

The Opening Doors Project is very grateful to the Government and the organisations listed below for funding and supporting its services and activities.

St Nathanael’s Church:  We have been working in partnership with St Nathanaels Church, Fazakerley Road, Walton, since 2017. We hold most of our activities at the church and we are very thankful for the opportunity they have given us which has helped the charity grow and reach so many people.

We also support the church with some of their activities although this is not promoted through the charity as we are a secular organisation.

Walton Salvation Army:  We work in Partnership with the Salvation Army and provide services for their beneficiaries at their request. For example, last December,  we delivered a Christmas afternoon tea and also a three-course Christmas lunch for 40 people. We are looking forward to delivering a lot more community events this year.

MPAC (Merseyside Play Action Council)

We work in partnership with MPAC to provide play provision for L9 and L4 postcodes. We are very thankful for the continued funding, support and training we receive from MPAC.

LCVS (Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services)

We have worked with LCVS since March 2019.  In conjunction with LCVS we provided food support for struggling families in the L9 and L10 postcode areas during Covid -19. We also signposted people to receive additional support when required.

Through our partnership with LCVS we became a Community Champion which meant we promoted Covid guidance in the community.

Afternoon tea we supplied for our partner Salvation Army, Walton.
