

Opening Doors Project – HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) Provision
The Opening Doors Project is proud to offer HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) sessions for children and young people aged 5–17 years who are eligible for benefit-related Free School Meals.
Our HAF programme runs Monday to Thursday, from 9:30am – 1:30pm, and provides:
- A nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks each day – all meals fully compliant with Department for Education Food Standards
- A safe, supportive, and inclusive environment, led by experienced staff who are DBS checked and receive annual training in Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, and Neurodiversity
- A structured timetable of engaging daily activities, including:
- Science & chemistry experiments
- Arts & crafts
- Enrichment sessions
- Mindfulness & exercise
- Fun and games
- Themed fun days & exciting day trips
Our sessions are designed to support the wellbeing, development, and enjoyment of every child, providing a space to learn, play, and grow in confidence during the school holidays.
